Are you experiencing Internet Problems?
If a wireless network works fine one day but then struggles to connect on another occasion, then one or more of your neighbours within range of your network might have installed a wireless router that is interfering with your router's signal. If you are using a cable or ADSL connection via a telephone line, the line's cable may have been damaged. A call to BT to do a line check may be needed to find out if there is a fault on the line that could be causeing you the problems with the internet connection.
Wireless routers can function on one of several frequencies, known as channels. There are thirteen such channels in the frequency range that are used. If other wireless routers ae using the same range you are using then channel interference can take place that slows your transfer speed and may even prevent your PC from connecting to your router altogether.
There are other causes of interference such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, bluetooth devices and even baby monitors.
